Vision Screening

Vision Screening for Mana Academy Scholars

A scholar's ability to see impacts their ability to learn in the classroom. Utah State Law (UCA 53G-9-404) mandates vision screening in schools to help identify children who may require further evaluation of their eyesight.

A school vision screening program is a cost-effective approach in the early identification of serious vision problems that might negatively affect the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of our scholars.

We are partnering with Friends for Sight to host a FREE vision screening for our Mana Academy on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 for grades K-10. We will extend the screening to any 11th or 12th grade scholar who needs it. If you want to opt-out your scholar from the vision screening, you can fill out the attached form and send it back to us.
