POSITION: Second Grade Elementary School Teacher for 2021-2022 School Year
JOB DESCRIPTION: Mana Academy is seeking a full-time Second Grade Elementary School Teacher. Successful candidates will be:
Energetic, enthusiastic and committed to student success
Licensed* in Utah or have a Bachelor's Degree in Math, Engineering, or related field
Work well in a teamwork environment
Engaging and able to effectively deliver instruction to high school students
Able to manage a classroom

The classroom teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning environment where students develop the skills to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, lifelong learners and productive citizens. Teachers maintain a safe environment: establish rapport with students, parents and colleagues:motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge that will help them reach their potential and be prepared for higher levels of education and career readiness. Teachers differentiate curriculum and use effective research-based methods of instruction according to Utah State Core Standards.
