Vision Screening set for October 12th
Mana Academy will be hosting a free vision screening for our scholars on Tuesday, October 12th, at both campuses. Vision screening services will be provided by the non-profit organization Friends for Sight.
Friends for Sight provides free vision screenings that can detect possible preventable
blindness factors and to assess if children are seeing as they should for their age. This organization has been providing free vision screenings for over the past 61 years, with trained volunteers who have screened over 597,000 children in Utah.
CDC-recommended precautions and guidelines during the screening to keep your
students and our staff/volunteers safe. If your scholar is not feeling well, please do not send them to school for vision screening. Screenings can be rescheduled with Friends for Sight. Also, please be sure that if your child wears glasses that they bring them to school so we can perform a proper screening. For more information, a PDF is linked below.
